Smart, beautiful and proud of her body, Cal State Fullerton’s Leilani Rios loved everything about college — from her major (kinesiology) to running as a non-scholarship member of the school’s cross country team to her part-time job as an exotic dancer at the Flamingo Theater. The problem: Her coach didn’t like her job and forced her to choose between stripping and running.
