In 2006, Pressly was an honorary captain for Minor League Baseball’s Carolina League in the California League/Carolina League All-star game in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Her hometown team, the Kinston Indians, is a member of the Carolina League.
Pressly currently appears on the hit NBC sitcom My Name Is Earl as Joy. She has received two Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her work on the show. Lately, Pressly plays the role of Tina Armstrong, in the movie based on the popular video game, DOA: Dead or Alive.
On September 16, 2007, Jaime won an Emmy award for Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series for her role as Joy Turner in My Name is Earl.
